1. The start of our ninth year

It’s good to be open again after a 10 day break with our Canadian family at the beginning of January, and then slogging hard to refit during the remaining three weeks.

Our big news is our long overdue visit to stay with Ellie in Australia.

She has been there since travelling overland from London in the first Ozbus, arriving in Sydney in December 2007. Having explored around the coast for a few months, she settled in Brisbane and soon found a job.

“The genuine oasis-in-the-wilderness. Best bookshop in Cornwall by a long way. Upstairs from the cafe (the coffee was superb) were rooms of rare treasures.
