1. Perspectives of War
The Collective, a group of St Just artists, have had a powerful and disturbing exhibition of their perspectives of war in The Cook Book. The private view, on 4th November, was also an occasion to hear a number of moving readings about different perspectives of war, and to hear Doctor Derrington give a seried of brief vignettes about his experiences as a wartime bomber navigator. It was an evening that provoked thought, brought people together in a simple act of remembrance and also helped to raise over one hundred and fifty pounds for Combat Stress, the ex-services mental health charity.
