We have about 4,500 second-hand books, sorted by genre, in three rooms upstairs, and an eclectic selection downstairs.

Buying them is easy. Parting with books before we have read them is difficult. We love books.
There is a wide selection to choose from including art, history, Military history, poetry, natural history and books about Cornwall. Also paper-back fiction. Ideal holiday reading.
The children's section of the Book Shop is popular and the thunder of tiny feet upstairs in the book rooms is a regular feature of family visits. Best of all is the total silence when a child has found a book and is lying on the floor, wholly engrossed.
