We have about 5000 second-hand books, sorted by genre, in three rooms upstairs, and an eclectic selection downstairs.

Buying them is easy. Parting with books before we have read them is difficult. We love books.
There is a wide selection for the discerning book buyer to choose from including art, history, military history, poetry, natural history and books about Cornwall. Also paper-back fiction. Ideal holiday reading.
The children's section of the Book Shop is popular and the thunder of tiny feet upstairs in the book rooms is a regular feature of family visits. Best of all is the total silence when a child has found a book and is lying on the floor, wholly engrossed.
Apart from second-hand books, we also sell original paintings by Maggie O’Brien, Evocative Cornwall Calendars and Christmas cards, a small selection of local cards, Boddington’s strawberry jam, Origin Ground Coffee and beautiful hand sewn leatherwork by Bosorne Leatherwork.
